How the Peace Game Works

The Peace Game is played in a user-friendly app. There are two formats for playing the game:

Global Online Peace Game. It consists of 9 weekly two-hour meetings on Wednesdays from 12-2 pm ET on Zoom. It’s played as part of a 3-person team and facilitated by David Gershon. It takes place three times each year.

In-Person Peace Game. It consists of 9 weekly or biweekly meetings as part of a 5-8 in person team which is self directed by the team with meeting guides. This format is primarily used in Peace on Earth Zones with the support of a local Peace Game Manager.

What Rotarians Are Saying

“For me, of all the programs Rotarians are involved in, the Peace Game is the most powerful, accessible, and effective activity that we can participate in. One of the strongest changes for me was accountability for my individual role in creating peace in the world through my personal day to day activities. This is a tool that must be added to our tool box for peace. “

Jim Halderman

Chair, Peace Committee D5450

“The Peace Game touched my heart! It is a gift of inspiration and action. Each insightful weekly meeting was a mind-changer for me and everyone of us who played. The Peace Game reinforced my belief that our intention can manifest a peaceful destiny for ourselves and others.”

Barbara Gaughen-Muller

2022-23 Chair: Rotary Action Group for Peace, co-founder Rotary E-Club of World Peace, host of the Peace Podcast

“Rotary creates possibility through service. Serving humanity through the Peace Game was one of the most impactful decisions of my lifetime. It meets folks wherever they are on their peace path and inspires each and every player to take peace to an even higher level. Peace on Earth by 2030 is real. The peaceful power of Rotary can help bring about this reality sooner.”

Sherry Ann Bruckner

Rotary E-Club of World Peace, Attorney and Mediator

“The Peace Game was a game changer for me. Its synergistic set of action steps created meaningful, long-lasting peace in my life and helped me ripple out these effects to others. It has impacted my relationships, my professional activities, and my daily practices. I believe Rotary has an amazing opportunity to promote peace in the world using the Peace Game.”

Tami Briggs

Rotary E-Club of World Peace, Peace Meditation Harpist

“I have played the Peace Game three times. Each time it takes me deeper in my ability to create peace in my personal life and all my interactions. I am very excited to engage my fellow Rotarians in bringing peace to our world.”
